Canada', and has U.S. ARMY POSTAL SERVICE/A.P.O. (no year)/JUN/27/182 duplex b/s. Wrinkles & bit of aging, but a scarce Korean war cover!

----/MAR 27 1947/H.M.S. "CRESCENT." blue ink rectangular marking on cover w/#274 tied by N.P.O./1113 AP 5/47 CDS B/T #14-61 RF D to USA, letter enclosure. Note the ship cancel has top lettering removed. Late use of NPO/1113 cancel is not common, was at HMCS Naden at Esquimalt, BC. Letter inside ID's HMS Crescent as a former British Navy ship, with the same dater still in use.

COMMANDING OFFICER/OCT 6 1945/H.M.C.S. WOODSTOCK blue ink oval free strike on cover w/#C8 tied by N.P.O./1113 OC 6/45 CDS B/T #M14-61 RF D air mail to WADENA/SASK. OC 8/45 CDS b/s. Back flap is stationery of HMCS Woodstock. Slightly cut down at left affects airmail label, some ink stains front & back. NPO 1113 was HMCS Naden at Esquimalt, BC.

N.P.O./1213 JUL 9 1945 blue ink MOTO B/T #M14-241 RF Unreported, two strikes on a block of 6 #260, reasonably sound copies with a couple light creases. Certainly a rare cancel & probably postal usage (non-philatelic). NPO 1213 was at Saskatoon.

Interesting cover & some rare markings.

Back is missing, inside is a payment receipt for a shipment of apples which has been folded to resemble the back. Registered Militia covers are a rarity!
