P.O.W./132 PM/MR 6/45 CDS on POW FREE letter sheet to Germany, Allied censor marking and Swiss Red Cross marking. Green security paper with usual discolouration. POW 132 B/T #M16-22, RF D, at Medicine Hat, Alta. Bit of aging, back flap tear, brown paper tape at each side.

Three stampless Newfoundland covers air mail to Canada during WW2, each with a different type of triangle marking 'POSTAGE/PAID/G.P.O.', all three have Navy censor markings, one is dated 2/12/42. Wee tiny bit of aging. Scarce material!

U.S. ARMY/A.P.O. 862 APR 9/1951 machine ties USA #C39 to air mail cover to USA; and U.S. ARMY-AIR FORCE/POSTAL SERVICE MAY 11/1958/APO-862 machine ties USA #1035 to cover to Qualicum Beach, BC. APO 862 was located at Pepperrell AFB, St. John's, Nfld. 1951 cover is slightly cut down at top left.

ORDERLY ROOM/date/Royal Canadian Dragoons Lot of two covers with dated rectangular b/s, inc. NOV 5 1938 in green ink on back of 2’ pstl. stry. cover with 'Stanley Barracks, Toronto' cc, major tears on front; and the same marking dated DEC 30 1942 in magenta ink b/s on cover with F.P.O.-D.C.A.5/1 DE 30/42 CDS to Montreal. Certainly not many pairs of the same markings used before & during the war exist!

R/____/N.P.O. 605/No. Purple ink registration rectangle B/T #M14-33 but with 'Halifax' excised out as a blackout marking on OHMS window #9 cover, HALIFAX/NOVA SCOTIA JUN 2 '44 14’ meter franking, also has ____/N.P.O. 605/JUN 2 1944/____ MOTO b/s in purple ink B/T #M14-32 with 'Halifax' excised out as a black out marking. Both excised markings are unlisted by B/T. These are rare blackouts!
